I got 2 questions i got my turbo motor, auto trans, engine and tranny ecu all from the same year but i have mistakenly bought a 5speed wiring harness. Will i have to run extra wiring or are they the same? and my other question is i have the n/a trans in there now i was wondering if the driveshaft would mate to the turbo trans.

Auto wiring harness is different from 5spd. You can go auto to 5spd with no wiring troubles, but not the other way around.

I'm pretty sure the driveshafts are different lengths.

When you say NA trans and are talking about auto, they are the same either way. If it's a 5spd tranny you are talking about that's NA, then it's a w58 and the turbo 5 spd is a R154. You will need to have an auto engine harness to make your car work with the slushbox ;).

I come from a land down under
I've just finished my 5speed>Auto conversion today and if I hadn't butchered my harness so badly many years ago it would have been a plug in job?
(excluding the parts I hacked out it was all there)
