First, I have to get new rotors and brake pads. I was wondering about the calipers. I can't seem to find any good ones online. All I find are these cheapy brands you get at auto part stores. I'm not trying to go high performance but I do want good brakes and components (NOT made in china). Any suggestions for calipers or brake packages? Are the MKIV brakes the same as the MKIII?

Secondly, the air intake. I will be getting some type of performance intake filter but I can' find any full intake kits for this car. Is there something I can get or fabricate to go between the AFM and the throttle body?

*I have an 87 NA

Check the general section, there's a group buy by Doward looks like a pretty good setup on the brakes.

Most have gotten parts and pieces at an auto store to make an intake kit, Cre has one listed in the Maft-Pro questions thread, I think it is for a Honda Civic and it can be ordered on line.

You might consider the possibility that there's a reason none of the bigger, more respected companies ever developed a "better" intake for our cars. A search will find you all kinds of info on this topic. The synopsis:

1) if you MUST have a different filter place a piece of pipe on the AFM which puts the filter below the passenger headlight. Putting a filter in the engine bay without a box to prevent hot air from getting it (look at the stocker for a good example... go figure) will only hurt your performance.

2) leave the resonator right were it is... your buddy with the Mustang's full of shit when he says it's restrictive... and if you think it simply sounds cooler, remember that the additional noise is usually just turbulence, not something you want in the the air flow.

3) replace the accordion hose with a smooth silicone hose (www.siliconeintakes.com).

DONE.

honestly, go to napa, or autozone...whichever you prefer, get the rebuilt calipers. get some porterfield rs4 pads, and some NON sloted NON drilled rotors, and you'll be pretty damn happy with the brakes. especially with it being n/a...

mkiv brakes dont fit without modifications...
and i think dowards kit may be a bit pricey for what your looking for...

doesn't the accordion section have that vacuum hose connection on it?

Yeah and? Get a piece of pipe, put a nipple on it and use silicone couplers on each end to mate it. ;)

It's an N/A right now, but I want to be somewhat prepared for major upgrades, like a 7M-GTE swap, depending on where I decide to go with the car. I don't want to spend money now on brakes then have to ditch the whole setup to buy a better setup.

I am planning on getting the Brembo OEM replacement rotors, but I am still considering Power Slot (suggestions about them?). As for pads, I'm looking at Axxis pads. Also, stainless steel brake lines.

I want to have a good brake set up that has good quality and stopping power, but I'm not trying to turn my Supra into a high performance race car.

OE replacement rotors, SS lines, toyota pads, and some rebuilt calipers from NAPA will work fine. On my N/A for an intake pipe I used a autozone civic intake kit with a slight angle cut on the TB side. They also sell adapter plates for the air meter and pipes so you can put the filter where you want.

Not without significant modification or fabrication. If your going to go that route its better to get a Big Brake Kit.
