So i'm not sure where to really put this thread, but i figured you guys would love to see this project. I am currently swapping in a 1uz to my buddy's 87 dodge ram. This was our parts getter truck (it's rust free!). The old 90 hp slant 6 just wasn't covering it anymore (i used this truck to deliver my subaru motor to the subby specialist and it could barely hit 65mph on the freeway!). I've been wanting another 1uz project ever since i threw one in my supra, so why the hell not put one in this truck. It'll have good ol toyota reliability when we're done. I picked up this motor, trans, harness, and ecu from a guy ron from this forums. Thanks ron! I plan on keepin this motor stock with the original sc400 auto trans. Now onto the pics

Lookin great. It has so much room in that bay it'd be a shame not to turbo it. One hell of a sleeper

I don't even know what to say about this man... Kinda reminds me of the truck my dad used to drive when I was a youngin'. The same truck he ran over my Tonka truck with... real truck won, in case you were wondering. ;)

Overall, I really like the idea. Considering it's a parts fetching truck, I wouldn't spend the money to boost it, but if you just happen to have some turbos laying around, I certainly wouldn't argue.

you are the fukin man, you have the ability to due purely custom swaps in a matter of no time. glad to see that my old motor went to a good home, Just time to put that m90 u have lying around on it

haha thanks again. still gotta get this driveshaft figured out and the gear selector. i wish i bought the stock cats and y pipe from you. Right now i think we are gonna modify my friends old n1 style exhuast from his sti to fit the truck (of course we are gonna hide the canister) lol.

which junkyard? we need a ls400 fan mount to get rid of this hydro fan pump
