I havent driven my supe since about the middle of march, probably longer, seeing as the battery i had paid £85 for had gone dead thanks to a wonky alarm (anyone know why the Scorpion's do this?). Finally managed to get my old charger back from someone i'd leant it to, and got the battery charged. Quick 10 minute changeover and turned her over with the EFI fuse out to get some oil pressure back to the important bits. Checked the fluid levels and condition and popped the EFI fuse back in.
Voila! Fired up first time, sounding lovely as ever
Quick run round the block to take the surface rust off the brakes, and i'll do the tyre pressures later tonight, put a fiver in the tank as well.
Aaaah after having relied on public transport and my own legs for a while - was nice to get back in the supe, lay in the squooshy seats and just cruise around the block - not even boosting
No real point to this, just....I HAD TO TELL YOU ALL!
