so i have a 1jzgte supra with a r154 i had issues with slipping out of 1st gear, so i changed the clutch and flywheel thinking that it would fix the problem. it didn't. so now im thinking that i have to get a rebuild kit from driftmotion and hope that fixes the problem. does anyone know if there is an adjustment on the tranny for first, or is first gear just gone.

And yes, 1st gear on this tranny is toast.
I had that happen for a while and it was the white plastic 'cap' on the bottom of the shifter. Mine was gone and installing a new one along with a new shifter bushing cleared it right up.
Your mileage on this may vary and it may only hold off the need to rebuild the tranny.
