Hi everyone
Can anyone help I have a supra mkiv with a 1jzgte transplanted in it.
And I have just won a performance inlet manifold and was woundering
What I would need to do to put this on because there are sensors on the
Standard intake manifold.
And plus it's a automatic gearbox so the load sensor that comes from the gearbox would have to
Be accomadated if i am right in thinking.
Could anyone help with this sticky.
Thanks a lot lee

It runs well bud and it beats my mates 2jzgte from 0-100.
I'm just want to keep upgrading the 1jzgte . 2jzgte engines are dear I payed £300 for the 1jz and just gone from there. I was looking in to the
1jz head 2jzgte bottom end and make it 1.5 stroke.

But for now im really happy with the 1jzgte.
The spec at the min is
Big front mount intercooler
A larger radiator.
Hks dump valve
And this performance manifold but it looks a bit complicated.
Plus will it work with a automatic.
Thanks lee

Hope you moved the intake from the top of the turbos. The way thats setup Your not getting any velocity from the air going through an intake which would add power, and would be a tad cooler.

Hi yeah I moved that down to the front on a pipe so it's abit cooler.
Have you any idea weather the new intake manifold will fit on without a lot of
Modding cheers lee

By the looks of it you will probably have to re locate your battery.

^^ this, and also your fuse box, and a little hacking to the battery tray. the inlet on that manifold is at a pretty good angle

I could probley solve that it's the wire loom that goes over the the inlet near the injectors and all the sensors on the main inlet?
Has anyone done this mod before?
Cheers lee

It's mainly the wiring and sensors that's on the standard manifold.
And the kick down cable.
I think I could move the battery but i think the fuse box and the power steering bottle
Will need to be relocated.
Cheers lee
