How much different 1jz-ge is from the gte brother in terms of internals? Does anyone know if that the same situation as with 2jzs? I'm thinking about a 1jz na-t possibility on a tourer-s or avante g variants of chasers, crestas, and mark IIs and maybe older crowns that are not "athlets".

If you can get a 1jz-ge.... But then since you have to import it anyway, I cant see the price being that much less than a 1jz-gte. I would think they would just junk them in japan being that mostly everyone that is going to import a 1jz is after the gte.

Its not for the US market. its for other countries where these cars are acctually driven.
