Need help guys, are the y-pipes worth upgrading. about to install my rebuilt stock twins are keeping my stock twin for now want to take advantage scince i'm intalling them. do i gain any power.

check out my thread about installing them, there is some feadback in there worth checking out.

i would personaly say that they are worth it, you get more boost, gain hp, you get to hear your turbos spool up. but you need to wrap them to contain the heat, and make try and make them fit like a stock y pipe so you dont have any leaks.

personally after i just did my twins... i would say eff doing this again!!! haha next time these come off i'm going big single only way it will make it worth it to me. but again like oneJArpus said if you just rebuilt them might as well put them on.... or sell them and get a noce big single!!! haha

once you begin to take the twins off if you haven't already, you'll know why i'm so opposed to the twins r&r

If you're keeping the twins for more than 6 months, I'd say yes. If you plan on upgrading sooner, I'd say save the money. If the turbos are already off the vehicle it should save you a bit of a headache. Just remember to keep bolts a bit loosened up so you can have some wiggle room when installing them again! ;)
