I have an 89 mx83 cressida with a 1J, but I figured there were a lot of 1J swappers that could at least try to help me out with this.

My car currently has no power. Battery is at 12V, I've checked all fuses, and they are all intact. I would like to at least regain power to the car, so I can troubleshoot the rest of the BS from there.

I have a JZX81 into MX83 harness, and all of the needed mods look to be there, and it all plugs in, except for a few things.

these I am stumped on. My car has none of these plugs. do I need these?

what am I supposed to do about these? (alternator wires.)

and what do I do with the stock 7M alternator harness stuff?

any help is good help, I'm stumped and I want my shit back on the road.

that top connector in the pic carries a few of the power signals, one of the others has the gauge signals (Tach, oil pressure, temp, etc).... There have been some other Cressida swaps, so I am sure someone else can give you better details on hooking them all up...

the middle pic is (i believe) the intake temp sensor plug. and as for the alternator, if you are using a 7m fuse box, just extend the three wires over to the 1jz alternator, the other wire for it is contained in the jz harness.

yeah the extension of the 7M alternator harness has pretty much become the conclusion for that problem.

But I'm still in the dark as to where my power went....

So I have regained power, and the engine cranks, but I'm getting no spark and fuel.

how do I get power to the coilpacks and injectors?
I have a switched power source, but I have no idea where to put that source...

updates!

My engine cranks, and has no fuel and spark.

I pulled a coilpack and there was no spark on the spark plugs, so I have confirmed the no spark. but as far as the injectors not working, I'm not sure. The fuel pump works. I can hear, feel, and smell fuel running through the lines. But I think the problem is the injectors pulsing.

I cut the black with yellow wires on the coilpacks and injectors and connected the power to these, was this the right thing?

+B has power, as well as +B1 and BATT. Is there anything else on the ECU I'm missing that could be missing power?

Everything ran just fine before I pulled the engine from the clip, so I highly doubt anything is defective. But I could be wrong.

I'm totally new and in the dark with 1J wiring and electronics, so give me anything and everything I could check/test/rewire.

I have a feeling I'm really close, but I just need a person with 1J swap wiring experience to point me in the right direction..
