Anyone have the complete wiring diagrams for my 92 5spd so my guy can make me a harness from scratch?

Thanks in advance.

that would be quite a feat from scratch. where in boston you located?

I'm in Wilmington but my car is in Allston. I've been through hell trying to wire this car up.

Bought an extended harness off Ebay from a guy claiming it was from his Supra when it really wasn't and then he disappeared from Ebay with my $900 while I got a harness that didn't work. Then a member of SF who was doing my swap said his buddy could wire up a harness for me for $400.

Car still did not run and I ended up taking it to this shop in Allston thats a "family friend" who has never even seen a 1jz in his life. He discovered the SF member built me a harness contructed of speaker wire he bought from his job at Best Buy, so this guy in Allston bought a harness and some connectors and has had this car for a year and says he can finish it if I get him all the wiring diagrams. I'm in desperate need of all the diagrams so I can get this swap done after being down for over 2yrs.

I even asked him if he wanted me to get 935 to build me a PnP harness but he declined saying if I got the diagrams he could finish it in no time.

well i hope it works out for you, you might try finding a soarer harness, then just switching the body plugs. theres many options, and i dont know the specifics on all of them. but look around.

Get an unmolested harness and extend the wires yourself, it is not hard just a time consuming process, but it works. Making a harness from scratch......my god I'd be amazed. Good luck.

Oh I also heard of people drilling holes in the firewall nearer the drivers side to get it to length without cutting you harness.

I second this! This is the best way. It takes about 8-10 hours of soldering, but it is worth it. You will have about 4 shielded wires, that is the only issue. I have been driving mine for 6 months and it works great after the home made extension :)

Or you cound not bother extending it and run it through the firewall behind the engine. It is 15-18 wires for a bare bones swap.

That is what the idiots that swapped my donor car did and i have to say it is very shady and messy. I am sorry, but it is just not that hard to extend them! Just do it! Go slow and you will be very pleased with yourself.

Psh, don't listen to everyone saying making a harness from scratch is so terrible. I made one for a different car, and that was my first one ever. It worked and looked great. If this guy has experience, I wouldn't worry a bit. I ran my wiring behind my intake manifold through a hole I made in the firewall, looks pretty good imo :)

Heres some help:

Connector help, *caution* these change slightly throughout the years:
