Timing Belt - shared - 13568-49025

The 1988+ Isuzu Trooper 4 cylinder 2.6 liter engine (4ZEL) uses the same belt as the Toyota 1JZ engine. So instead of getting a belt from Japan (~$100) you can pick up an Isuzu Trooper belt locally at an auto parts store for about $30 US. Make Sure You Get The 4 Cylinder 2.6 Litre Engine Belt!

one part im not sure if shared is the oil pans.

iirc all vvti 1jz's are front sump, if someone needed to swap to a rear sump im not sure if they can use the normal 1jz/2jz rear sump

Yes, you can use a 2JZ rear sump oil pump without any issues.

how about the pans, vvtis are front sump. Use the regular 1JZ oil pan right? I just want to verify it will fit on the vvti 1JZ
