Hello, I have a quick question I am hoping someone could answer for me. I have almost finished my swap (1JZ into MA70) and I am having issues figuring out where my last vacuum line goes. There are 3 vacuum lines i have (1 to boost sensor, 1 to MAP sensor, 1 to???) I have found this one diagram from Flea420 at SF
(http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y55/Flea420/vac1.jpg)
Thanks for the hosting that pic Flea420!

And to me it looks like one of my hoses isnt hooked up (possibly to the fuel tank or something? sorry im kinda a noob to this) I do know that the one I have unplugged is coming from behind the 'diagnostics' box on the intake mani. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I Have also included a picture of the problem

Thanks

That one is for the charcoal canister. It is switched by a BVSV so don't use it for anything else.

sorry for the noob question but the charcoal canister is on the driverside firewall correct?

On a MA70 it is the black coffee can looking thing on the passenger side by the turbo elbow and ABS pump (if you have ABS).

On the JZA70 it is a much smaller black plastic box that is on the passenger side firewall (but it is RHD so it is our driver side).

If you have neither, and don't need them for inspection, you can just cap it off.

sorry what is a vented cap please? where can I get one?

If you're going to cap it, you might want to replace your gas cap with a vented one. Just incase during the summer time (tank pressure).

Ok, I live in Canada tho so It doesnt get as hot as Cali? Will that still be an issue? I guess for the 5-10$ its probably just worthwhile to do....although i like my original 'stocker' lol
