Is anybody running a different throttle cable then the 2jz for all the guys with the 1j swap? I was just wondering as I will be swapping soon and just wanted to see the options. And, what is the best option?

I went to a salvage yard and pulled one out, cost me like 5-10 bucks

Do you know what engine it was on? I thought there were a few engine options for the Camry of those years. Thanks.

Either the 4cyl or the 6cyl(1mz) Camry cable will work, as will the corolla cable from the same years (92-96). I can't say for sure about the 3vz cable.

Sai, just get the Camry cable. That is what I am running on my car. cost me a couple of dollars at the junk yard lol. Corrola cable had a weired fit eventhough the length was fine...

I picked up a throttle cable from a 92-96 Camry at the junk. It had a hard plastic tube shell on the outside covering the cable line throughout most of the piece. Is this correct? And while I was ripping out the cable, I noticed the motor had um....2200 writing on the engine core. Is this the correct cable?

you dont have to take the cable out of its sheathing, just switch out the metal piece inside the car with one off your 7M cable
