easily 4000cc's for the injectors.. and fuel pressure is probably gonna need to be around 423psi to overcompensate for the upgrade.

you're absolutely gonna need at least three fuel pumps, but I don't like odd numbers when it comes to fuel pumps, so you better make that four pumps..

no standard plugs are gonna work.. you could try triple stacking TRD iridiums on top of each other though, I've known a few guys who swear by this setup. otherwise, your only other option is to eliminate spark altogether (yes, it's been done.. in fact, Detroit and Caterpillar both make these motors).

for a standalone, I would probably say you're looking at twin Motecs. they can only run three cylinders at a time so.. however, apparently there's a hack in order to get the first Motec to run all six cylinders, but one still needs the second one in order to start the car. silly engineers!

best deals?! I'd probably say to take a look on the German Supra forums, a lot of us here actually learned German in order to be able to buy parts and to communicate with them properly.

ughh, T88 will be terrible on a stock 1jz, you will have a 1500 rpm powerband. Unless you ae going to make 650+ HP I would put something that is sized better for the 2.5L. For much more than 500 rwhp you will need a proper standalone ie Haltech, Motec, Vipec, AEM, and for fuel you will need 650-800 CC injectors and a top feed fuel rail, along with twin fuel pumps, such as two walbros in tank or intank pump with a Bosch 044 booster pump like I run on my car, or a big external pump (weldon, Areomotive) with a sumped fuel tank. Spark plugs BKR7E. And a good clucth that will hold the power, and no a Spec stage 3 wont cut it.

We (BIC Performance) are an official Haltech dealer and developed a direct plug in EMS setup using the Haltech Sport 2000 ecufor only $1949 US including a startup 1jz map that wil run your car right out of the box. We could also put togeather a great fuel system and turbo kit for you. Pm or call us for more details.

Going to a T88 on a 1jz from a 60 trim?

That is what I was going to comment on also. But in a serious way, not sarcastic like the first response. You should consider about 100 more cubic inches. I know the 2JZ has used it, but they are dyno queens. What do you think your engine will be like with that monster?

The easier route is a small hit of nitrous if you plan to line up on the track once in a while. It will spool the turbo much quicker.

That's pretty hilarious, and relatively factual :D hahaha!

relax.. it's huge turbo for a 1J, and this thread is in the wrong section if you want the best responses. even still, Randy answered your question for the most part.

you're a fellow JZ owner, so trust me when I say I have nothing against you. I was just giving ya a hard time ;)

yeah, the lack of responses is somewhat frustrating sometimes.. but usually if one is patient, the answers will come.

sometimes you solve your problems before a solution presents itself on here, it happens to me all the time.

yeah but im gettin some good feed back now!!! thanks guys!

I guess you missed the 5th response if you think that. The best thing to do is get a small hit of nitrous. A more pricey choice is 1.5 JZ and the nitrous.

But since people want to dog the gutless 1JZ until it has big boost, I watched a 1JZ Supra run a 15.11 @110 on much quicker responding GT40. He backed it up with a 14.9@111. To be fair, it was lousy weather. It got hot today, around 90 at 5 PM and in the upper 80's with high humidity.
