damn you guys just saved me alot of time. ordering the harness tonight. this next part might be asking too much but does anyone know if there are any pre-made ic piping kits for the 1j swap? ive looked everywhere and cant find any so im either gonna have to measure everything and try to find someone with a mandrel pipe bender or just use the cut and weld method to fab it.

there are premade ones IIRC but expensive 1K + as they are the HKS brand. Just cut and weld a set not hard at all or time consuming.

called boomslang.
told em i needed an 18" extension harness for my mk3 supra 1jzgte swap.
they said "sure weve sold a bunch of them".
$250+shipping+tax and 2 weeks later,
the harness arrives.
does not plug in to my harness OR ECU!!
NOT EVEN CLOSE!!
idk what that means, if i have a different harness from most or what.
and the best part is, its a custom-one-off product, so no returns. period.
this project is a headache from hell.
any advice would be appreciated.
