haha welcome to the world of 1jz haha... some how i've managed to spend about 4,500 on the swap.... so far that is haha.
I'm at $4300 at the moment with my swap and I still have intercooler kit and exhaust to buy... and fluids.
haha yeah me too... gotta get fluids for the r154 and coolant, brake fluid for the brakes and clutch
driftmotion sells it. redline mt90 trans fluid.. I had it in my other r154 and it doesn't grind gears when shifting fast from 1st to 2nd like it used to.
hahahaha i've got around 3300 into mine and when i get my harness to dr.tweak its gonna go up just a lil hahahaha i love my car though and its totally worth it, i just cant wait to laugh at all the douchbags with hondas running around while im passing them hahahaha i got another job to finance the swap lol so now i work part time at advance auto and full time at a local garage 
hey will the motor mount brackets on the soarer engine work in the mk3 supra? also will the oil pan clear?
I believe the soarer front clips are mid or rear sump.. you should be fine, but I'm not 100% on that.
You have to get the brackets for your specific car. DriftMotion sells em, just select pre89 or 89+. And my Soarer 1j was rear sump, just look at it. Or if you haven't bought it yet, call them and ask which sump it is.
yeah mine is rear sump but i didnt know it their oil pan was built different
