1jz sound and resonator

I currently have a Custom full 3 inch exhaust to a Greddy Sp muffler.. And its still kind of loud w/ a tad bit of rasp when u step on it... Im assuming that the little flex pipe acting as a mid-pipe in my exhaust is made of poor quality steel and im going to replace it with a Dynomax Performance 21050 Resonator... its 30+ inches long !!! this should quiet my J down very adequately..Does anyone have experience with this resonator ? Does a resonator even affect the sound much at all ?

It might quiet it down a little... But I think it will just change the tone... Atleast that's what I've experienced in the past.

vibrant ultra quiet looked a bit small so i kept looking and found the dynomax... did the vibrant tone the car down a little tho ?

the resonator will quiet down the car a weeeeee bit, but usually they are meant to rid of the high pitched honda-like exhaust sounds..

I have a blitz nur-spec and it came with a resonator I ran it for a while with it then got rid of it to just full straight pipes. I really didn't notice much difference just the tone itself changed, I personally wouldn't waste my money on one, if you want to quiet it down get a silencer but in my opinion those make exhaust sound like shit, maybe try a different muffler.

It does. Its totally street drivable with one vibrant, not loud AT ALL. i got two and its very very quiet. I'll be posting videos soon. just not right now.
