1JZ single turbo exhaust

I have a 1JZ single turbo with a crapy exhaust system. Now on my old 7m i ran a dragger exhaust and loved it. I want that same sound from my 1jz. Are there any bolt on system made for 1JZ single turbos. my sup has 60-1 turbo with a 3 inch down pipe and waste gate dump pipe. How would i hook up a super dragger to it. and can i weld that dump pipe to the down pipe? oh yeah the down pipe does not have a bolt flange . It has v clamps how would i go about connecting the down pipe to the exhaust system? Does any body have a single turbo 1jz with a dragger exhaust? thanks.

you will need to customize your downpipe to fit the dragger exhaust system or customize an exhaust system with a dragger muffler on it. a muffler shop should be able to fix you up, as for the wastegate dump tube your gonna have to put a hole in the down pipe then fit the tube to the down pipe and weld it together to have the wastegate dump back into the downpipe. i think its just easier to run the wastegate dump seperate from the downpipe but check the vendors for the stuff

If i dump it back into the downpipe will it hurt the performance? Should i buy a 3 inch two bolt exhaust flang. then take it to a muffler shop and have them weld the flange to a 3 inch pipe and weld that to the downpipe?

Measure the distance left between the downpipe and catback, subtract 1" (flanges and such) and tell the exhaust shop to make you a 3" diameter pipe with those dimentions.

i don't know if dumping the wastegate exhaust back into the downpipe will hurt performance but i've always seen single turbo'd guys dump them in the open. as for the downpipe i would get a flange and have a muffler shop weld it on your downpipe so you could run any exhaust system you want but just make sure you fit the downpipe length right so you could get any exhaust system you want. the muffler shops might even have a flange for you if you don't have one. by the way what does your downpipe look like? you have a pic or link?

I'm gonna go to a muffler shop and see if they have the flange i need. Does anyone no if any auto parts store carry flanges.Just incase the muffler shops dont carry them.
