1JZ scheme HELP!!

Which scheme do you think looks best ?

OK so i can't decide on what to do with my engine bay ...here's how it sits now

I have three schemes in mind i would love some help choosing

scheme 1 - polished valve covers , polished intake and throttle body
scheme 2- black valve covers black intake black throttle
scheme 3 - polished valve covers black throttle and intake manifold

Well, think about it. You're engine bay would be like one giant black hole...

...if you polished, say, a gt42r and slapped it in there, your eye, or, more importantly, a young car loving female's eyes would immediately be drawn to the shiny thing dominating your engine bay.

THEN the panties would come off and your day would get immensely better. :icon_bigg

Results not typical. If erection lasts more than four hours see a physician immediately.


Granted, my turbo housing is black, BUUUUUUT I accidently sprayed it with undercoating, so it made sense at the time. I'll probably just sandblast mine and PC it with a high-heat epoxy clear, then call it a day.

polished. but paint the spark plug cover black with black hoses and couplers. just polished and black. no blue red or yellow.

Quick question...
if i pant my intake will it hold in heat ? and if so enough to worry about
also if i get polished is it a pain to keep looking fresh ?

I say leave it how it is and spend the money a big fat turbo, you will get more bang for your buck
