add more coolant and RTV if i need that and misc other stuff plus im borrowing a driveshaft so i got much more money to spend til its perfect
you've spend the money on more things then just the car..

sorry to hear that dude...that's why I paid Dr Tweak extra $$ for pm parts and to convert from hydro fan to 2j clutch cooling system and new rad as I wanted it to be as reliable as possible since I will spending shit load of $$ on it.

But hang in there. Like it's been said before it's only money....

ok well i come to the conclusion that the hydro pump is working. its spinning with the pulley and no blades are chipped, bent, or missing. we tried putting the old tstat back in backwards thinking we had it backwards the first time. this time it the temp STAYED at OT but still no flow. the only thing i can think of now is that there is a blockage somewhere in the engine....

i am soo over this car that i'm done working on it for a VERY long time. im gonna drop the insurance on it and just let it sit until i can save enough money to have someone else work on it....cause i can't deal with this car anymore.

but it makes NO sense

only thing that could be blocking it is a packaging peanut. cause when ITR shipped it it had an ass load of peanuts in the box LOLOLOL and maybe there was one in the Rad. and then it pumped thru the engine and got lodged???? i have no F'in clue anymore. i have tried EVERYTHING. when i get home today im gonna try to gut the 1JZ tstat and see if anything happens then if there is still no flow then im gonna let the car sit for atleast a month or two and not stress out over that damn thing.

Where are you checking for flow? At the radiator itself?
Maybe try pulling off one of the heater hoses to see if the water is circulating in that area and note the temperature as well.
Correct me if I'm wrong >

H2O > Radiator>water pump > Engine block/turbos/heater core > back to the radiator?

Just giving you some checkpoints.

yea we're checking for the flow at the radiator

here's a run down ( also posted i nthe SOME ONE HELP ME thread above this one)

ok i got a hydro fan setup still attached to the radiator we put it in fired it up and it had a crack

i replaced it with a 7M radiator and flowed water thru it before putting it in to clean it out and yadda yadda yadda....

i started the car up and it was almost touching the H. so i bought a new tstat for a 2J put it in there and still temp climbed to the H no flow....

i bought and extension mirror took the water neck off to where i could see the impeller with the mirror, turned the pulley, and its turning with the pulley, no busted, bent, missing, fins on the impeller.

so i put the 1J tstat back in back wards and now it doesn't over heat but the lower Rad. hose leading from the Rad. to the pump stays ice cold while the rest gets BURNING hot but still no flow and temp stays at operating temp. tried burping it and it just keeps spewing fluid and never fully bleeds out, and still no flow.

so thats where i got to last night before i stopped. so today im gonna try to gut the old tstat and see if it'll flow if not then im lost again....

also when i got the hydrofan set up it was in a box from ITR on the boards with a shit load of peanuts in it. i got all the peanuts i could see out of the radiator but is it possible one was still in there flowed thru the engine and got lodged???

Okay : So you are running the hydro fan with the 7m radiator. What is controlling the fan speed just our of curiosity?

Anyways, it will take a little while to get to operating . Hot water will rise / so the top of the radiator will be warmer / hotter than the bottom - also with hot the water from the engine coming into the radiator.

If the temperature gauge is pegging at high, could it be faulty?

Try to back flush the system by removing the radiator hoses and the thermostat to flush out any of the "suspect" peanuts that may have gotten through...which I doubt.

well nothing is controlling the speed of the hydrofan now. my buddy is running his hydrofan the same way. we had the sensor in the 1J radiator but it was cracked i doubt the gauge is faulty as it read hot with the tstat in properly then backwards it stayed at op. temp

need money first 7M radiator works fine that is not my problem right now i know the radiator is fine i can worry about it later it does the job what i wanna know is WHY COOLANT ISN'T FLOWING THRU THE MOTOR!
