It's a plug-n-play harness that acts as stock harness-to-stinger connector. You don't have to splice any wires, just hook it up.

It does away with the ecu. You have a stinger standalone to replace the stock ecu. If you dont' buy the plug and play harness, you have to wire them in yourself, and it's not a pretty picture. I chose the plug and play way and I would suggest you do the same. Good luck.
When I drop my 1j in won't my harness on the 1j plug and play with the MA70 mine's an 89'
I thought i just had to extend the harness 3 feet..

Good then I just need to extened the harnees 3 feet. Any suggestions on what type of electrical tape to use? And i need to re-wrap the whole harness anyways right?
I used connectors, shrink wrapped it and then used electrical tape. I don't know of a particular brand of electrical tape. It was black is all I can remember. Are you installing yours through a whole in the firewall by the speedometer location?
