Does Titan sell the 1jz piston rings alone or do they sell them with the pistons itself as a set?

I'm also in desperate need of piston rings.

So I dug up this old ass thread.. and I am about to order pistons. And just want to be clear

2j gte pistons can be run in a 1j stock rod. Correct?

And same goes for if I want to order a cp 2j piston in a 9:1 ratio. I just want to be clear that when I call cp pistons to get my 2j pistons I can put them in my 1j

Sorry for digging up a relic. But its 2 am. I am tired and this is the 1st thread I found on this subject

Why not just call cp and ask for 1jz 9:1 pistons? Or call Aaron at driftmotion and he can do it for you.

I'm running CP 9:1 pistons in my 1jz

so you can use 2jzge pistons on 1jz rods?
I belive so just have to get the right compression. The pistions I ordered about make 10 to1 iirc on a 2j. And 9:1 on a 1j due to the stroke differance

stock comp on 2jzge is 10 to 1, stock comp on a 1jzgte is 8 5 to 1, so i like higher comp ratings. so maybe comp would round 9 to 1 in a 1jz with 2jzge pistons

Googgle it up. I came up with cp part number sc7472. And that will get get 86.5mm9:1. Its the same as 10:1 part number for the 2j. That's tahken off cp web site

yea cause forged oem 2jzge pistons are way cheaper than cp piston. i can go to a engine dismantler and get a 2jzge block hella cheap
Are you sure oem are forged ?. I don't belive they are. If they were no one would ever replace them
