1jz or 2jz?

There are several MKIII/2JZs around... the 1JZ clips are getting harder to find. 1JZ was an interim step for me, since it was cheaper and more available at the time, but 2JZ is where I wanted to be, and am now;-)

So, if U R eventually going 2JZ, just go there 1st!

I disagree that 1JZ clips are harder to find. There is more demand for them, yes, but the supply is still huge in Japan (from what Venus told me). They can't order them fast enough.

I find it hard to find a 2jz clip where it was in a mkiv.

That may be, but I see alot of posts where ppl are still looking for 'em and maybe waiting awhile...

You can have an Aristo setup for less than $2K.

I bought my JZA70 front clip for $2K

Just need the 1JZ mounts, bellhousing and a few other things, to get the 2J in there.
