Is there a good 1jz,2jz oil relocater kit I can buy and coil cooler? Anyone had success with certain ones?

Photo's would be great. I really and not satisfied with the stock oil filter location. Since I am not running a A/C compressor it is easier to get to, but I want a cooler anyhow.

Greddy, HKS, and Blitz make some of the best out there for the 1JZ/2JZ. But they are pricey. I personally built my own. It saved me a few $ and IMO is better. I have a much larger cooler, and much longer lines to mount everything exactly where i want. I only saved about $200, but i think ill be happier with it knowing i did it all my self.

I dont have pics yet because the motor is still out of the car...

Well I will look into making one I guess. , I don't need any of the 1jz stock oil parts for the filter do I? Maybe the small thread part if that.

I used -10AN because that the size of the oil outlet on the oil filter. I didnt want any restriction what so ever. I wanted to minimize the pressure drop of the extra lines and cooler so i went as large as i could.

summit racing makes a very good priced oil filter relocation kit for 34.95 i belive the part # is sum G4985 for the price of kit is decent had no problems with mine . where these kits become expensive is buying the steel braided lines and the fittings is the money shot.Pick up a summit catalog you can put together a quality kit for wayyyyyyy less than the hks ($700)kit and its completely custom to your set up

so the best bet is to buy a summit kit and fab your own braided SS lines with fittings?

makes sense to me.

yeah mann i found the the summit kit was the best from the ground up ive also read thru the threads to see what others are running and how they are running and what are the ups and downs of it . TAKE NOTES WRITETHINGS DOWN ! IT MAKES IT EASIER AND MORE COST EFFECTIVE . Also there is another thread on here about using an accu sump with the cooler and reloc kit its very interesting .
