No the idle up circuit in the ecu is responable for that. Do you have the a/c pin wired up correctly?
I don't know. What is the "a/c pin"? Looking at the A/C circuit diagram, I see an "A/C short pin", is that what you are referring to? I've got the magnetic clutch going to the clutch relay, and then that goes to my #9 pin on my EA2. It kicks on fine, and blows cold (I installed new parallel flow condenser and new dryer). However, when I turn the a/c on, my tach signal disappears, and my hazard symbol lights up (constantly, doesn't blink) on the dash, hahahaha. I know something is not right. Plus when I push the "low" blower fan setting, nothing blows (not that I really would ever have it on low, but just to disclose all detail).
In relation, when I turn my hazards on, my tach needle goes up and down to the blinking of the hazards. Like every time the hazard blinks on, the tach needle falls to zero, then when the hazard blinks off, it jumps back to whatever rpm the motor is at. sigh...
