yes it is. i did it yesterday! lol. i just got back on this site ive been away for awhile....(bought a gsxr1000) anyway not trying to thread jack. yes the crossmember will work and looks stock. some people hacked there mounts and bought swap mounts and there engines go in but look a little crooked in a few cases.
swapping the crossmember and buying new stock mounts ur good to go. it takes longer though. it took about 2 hours to drop the old one and maybe 2 and half to put the new on.
Hi I bought a JZA70 front clip and transplanting the 1JZ into my '87 N/A. I read your post above and ordered stock '90 GTE engine mounts intending to swap front subframes. However I was reading posts and they say that the steering rack mounts for the RHD are not compatible with LHD. Would you please confirm that the subframe works with no mods to the steering brackets. I realize this post is old, but I thought that I would ask anyway.....
