Hi everyone,

I have a problem,a weird one. (1JZ-GTE-JZA70)

It all happen when I lifting up my car to test a new set of rims. After that,I suddenly felt much different with the car..

*The idle turns rough and sometimes dies.
*The engine has lost its power.
*Air con not functioning (air con lights turning on and off in the entire trip back home)
*Check engine light turns ON
*Smoke from the exhaust (the smell is not good, very worrying)
*Misfiring a lot

My mechanic said something about relay or something like that.

What do you guys think is the problem? Please help.I really need my car to get on the road again ASAP.

Thank you.

Yes,

And at the very same time when I reversing my car.I accidently scrub my intercooler to the road bumpy surface, but only a slight.I am sorry I forgot to add this.

You think this might be the caused? Intercooler pipes?leaking?

I hope bad ECU is the last thing :)

intercooler pipes leaking would not cause this, due to the engine using a map sensor. you should take your ecu out of the car and open it up and look for leaking caps and can also smell it for a burnt sent.
what is the bad smell from the exhaust, is it sweet smelling, or more like gas?

Before you go ripping things apart.

*Check engine light turns ON* ------ Get the codes.... Find out exactly what the ECU is trying to tell you

Also check the connections on the intercooler. You could of knocked a pipe loose.

Once you have the code check it out and come back.

What is the color of the smoke? Smells like?

A boost leak could cause most of the syptoms you have.
Definately check codes and your ECU

very true, check the codes!......it is very easy to check the codes.

i have popped off a intercooler pipe while driving because i did not tighten one up enough, and was able to drive home with engine running smooth.

Check map sensor hoses and vacuum hoses and the grounds... i had similar problems because of shit grounds and on another occasion a loosened map sensor hose

and an intercooloer pipe would not cause this as the 1jz runs perfect with no cooler hooked up.. it just would have no boost

also fuel line like grim said. check where u jacked it up from
