i recently did a single turbo upgrade on my 1jz. i pulled out the whole motor and also changed all gaskets, seals, and put on some arp's. now evetyhing s together, installed. i start it up the other night and for some reason, the car just wants to die. to start it, i have to cranks and open the throttle up and then it starts. also, i cant rev past 3000 rpm. i have checked for codes and dont really have anything. i have already re-calibrated my tps. any ideas, advice on what to check next? oh yea, i have already had my ecu re-capped and checked out by aaron about a year ago. other other mod beside the single turbo would be the aermotive fpr.

Little screws on the throttle body? turn up the idle a little.
The ECU may be in limp mode for some reason, mine does that every now and then, won't rev past 3000rpm. It goes away after the ECU decides there's nothing wrong(for my car anyway).

is there any way to manuwally get it off of limp mode? maybe reset the ecu?
