can you use an auto ecu and harness with a m/t on the 1jz ?

Yes, you'll just have to bypass the neutral safety switch.

correct, just bypass the switch. there are two wires black and white as far as i remember. you need to splice them together, they are located on one of the plugs from the auto tranny harness

there are three plugs, find the round one with three wires. blue white and black splice the white and black together. just go and look at it, dont be timid, you gonna realize how easy it is once you go and look at it.
