Single turbo guys with supporting mods running big boost. What spark plugs do you use? I've read the other threads, but I want to ask the question to this specific group of people. I've heard 3330s,6097s , some say copper some say iridium. I ordered new coil packs, now I need to buy plugs any advise would be appreciated..
Thanks, Michael

The 6097's are a very popular plug for almost all boosted import cars. There copper cores so they dissipate the heat much better on our cars. If your running N/A, then use iridium tips by all means.

Damn looks like we got a winner. 6097s thanks for the input guys.. I can't wait for those coil packs to get in. hopefully it will hit alot harder and not stumble at high boost. Thanks again for the help.

6097 is now 4644 same plugs just different number. Change plugs when you change oil.

Thats a bit extreme. On all of my cars I ran them ~ 8-10k miles (2 oil changes for me). Never had any issues with them breaking up at that mileage. This was with a ~450whp 1j and a 400whp 2j. I did run a .022-.025 gap though but thats more of the AEM in wastefire without a DLi then anything.

I changed my oil every 5k miles so changing the plugs at the same time. When I do the replace the plugs it still looks good but I figured it's good insurance to change them since the plugs are cheap and just to keep the car in top shape. I do gap mine at .025 also.

Hey guys thanks it worked like a charm. I installed my new coils and the 6097. No more miss fire or stumbleing at high boost.
Thanks, Michael
