Hi all..

As the tittle says,

Do you think a BMW OEM E39 Bosch Fuel Pump enough for my stock 1JZ-GTE? I don't have any pressure stat for this pump so I think it might be better if I ask you guys over here.

Please help.

Thank you so much.

Well just to let you know probably no one knows how much a E39 pump flows on these forums considering it is a supra forum. Then probably no one is going to do the research for you to find out if it does or not.

Did a google search and found nothing.

What's wrong with a mkiv fuel pump? I know its not what you asked but a lot of guys have gone that rout with 1jz with no problems. I know you dont want to go lean.

Thanks gennro,

It seems like it.Probably I need to test the fuel pump myself. The only logic figure is an E39 engine ranging from 2.8 to 4.9 Litre (according to Wikipedia.org) using this exact OEM pump,so I think it will be enough for 2.5 Litre turbo.I might be wrong but at least I can try.

Hi S.A. supra,

Nothing wrong with mkiv fuel pump but I only have this pump at the moment, and I'm on tight budget to find others.
