I have a 1jz, running 550's, a walbro 255, and at the moment running a stock fpr, because i wont be able to afford one for another week or two.

my question is, am i risking any damage to my car by driving it until i get the fpr and a tune on it?

i have an apexi safc, but will not be able to go get it tuned until i get the fpr on it.

am i risking any serious damage? (i have not yet driven it btw)

thanks for any input

No.

The stock FPR will do what it's designed to do, regulate the fuel pressure. Just because you have a bigger pump on there, it's not suddenly going to stop working. With the 550s, you'll be running RICH though. You best set the SAFC to pull the appropriate amount of fuel everywhere, and you should be good.

good to know, i was just worried about it flowing too much fuel through the 550's instead of the 370's

and i wont be able to safely set the safc until i tune it, because i dont have a wideband (again to come in a few weeks) i was planning to tuning that when i go to they dyno in two weeks.

thanks
