Hey everyone, 1st off I figure I should mention I am pretty much totally clueless on the ins/outs of the 1JZ, but this is for a buddy of mine so bear with me. He is not using the stock twins or any of the stock intake/exhaust stuff and it has a walbro fuel pump and an Aeromotive AFPR.
What does a 1JZ fuel cut feel like, and when does it kick in/what makes it kick in? What we were experiencing felt much more like a controlled electronic buffer that still allowed the engine to run and rev up but "sputtery" and slower and never let it see passed .94 bar. Which is nothing like the 7M's version, but it seems like it is fuel cut being that it happens at almost exactly the same boost every time. (to the .01 bar nearly)
So is this fuel cut or should we be looking into something else? Other then this it runs perfectly smooth.
Thanks!
