1JZ flywheel inspection window Q? - w/pic

^my 1JZ has this inspection hole, which I am guessing was the reason for all the ROAD CRUD inside my bellhousing etc...

does anyone else have this OR am I missing a block off plate (like my Nissan's have).

if you know a part # and share, you can be my hero TODAY, as some days I select a personal hero....

Just take a plastic board, cut it, glue it with a hard mixture and your set

^yeah, my solution will be fancier than that..

apperently there is a rubber boot that sits in there...

The rubber boot is the correct part, just don't bother putting it in there if you have any oil leaks in that area. The rubber tends to swell up and rub the flywheel and make smoke/stink.

there is a rubber boot that fits into that hole. part number 90950‑01809 ($17CAD)

I think since I changed my seals (front/rear mains, cams, and tranny) I can safely say I should not be experiencing any leaks....
I also had to remove/reshape the oil pan and reseal....
