1jz exhaust question

ok i'm contemplating whether to take out the cat from my exhaust system i dont want the car to be too loud i have right now 3in downpipe full 3in exhaust wit the cat and a resonator then out to a apexi n1 knock off which at the time i just slapped on becasue i was dumpin behind the driver side tire. i'm lookin to go straight 3 inch but not sure what muffler to get i would a quiet exhaust note but when i step in her i want her to sound alive any suggestions?

For what its worth, I've got 3'' dp/titan test pipe/hks dragger and my car isn't very loud at all. It still has the resonator in there, but you don't even know its on when it idles- you can hear the injectors over the exhaust lol. I can't really tell a diff b/t the test pipe and the 3'' hi flo cat I had on there...

+1 dragger with high flow cat 3" down pipe. If quiet is what your looking for this is a great set up.

Tanabe Hyper Medallion is also a great choice for a catless setup. Super quiet until WOT.
