1JZ DM67 Turbo Kit (previously called T-66 kit)

Hi guys....I am curious about this :

Who runs this turbo / turbo kit ?
Which is the max. whp achieved with it?
And does Driftmotion makes a turbo kit for 2jz?
(cause they have exhaust manifolds,DP kits,fuel rails,parts for 2jz)

...or does the 1jz kit fits the 2jz motor /

I'm just guessing here, but i think the only difference in the kit is the exhaust manifold. if u swapped the 1jz one for a 2jz one you should be ok. Pm Aaron. Its his kit, he should be able to steer you in the right direction.

X2, but the downpipe will need slight modification for the extra stroke/block height of the 2JZ.

Where the 1jz manifold meets the 2jz head will be different.

Aaron said in a previous thread that this turbo is good for 650bhp+ that is obviously achieved with a good tune and supporting mods...

Im curious as well.... What is the REAL WORLD performance of this kit? What numbers are people actually getting with this turbo kit? I find it very hard to believe i will be able to pull ~650hp on pump gas... Any one have any real expereince with this turbo setup?

I had a 67 .70 on my old 1jz, I got full boost ~ 4200 rpms. With 264 cams Full boost was ~ 4500rpms. With the cams and 17 psi was making ~ 450whp on pumpgas, I had aem ems though.

I thought the turbo sucked before I got the cams, as it had no power above 6500-6700rpms, and the short powerband was horrible. After I got the cams It pulled hard to 7600-7700 rpms.

With racegas and 30+ psi it would of made over 6, but never tried (nor had the fuel)

So with a DM67 81.AR turbo kit on a 2jz with 264 cams would reach the
700 rwhp mark on race gas and 28 psi of boost!
