I while back my car was doing the same thing. I would give it gas and get to about 3000 rpms and the engine would start cutting out and my wideband would go 15s and 16s. I put new coil packs in and never had a problem with it after that. I cant make sense of it but new coil packs stop me from going lean and cutting out.

damn sounds like we both have the same problem... i never figured mine out either... does your run really rough and idle really low? mine runs super rich, in the 9 afr at idel then runs super lean 16+ above 3k rpms i'm thinking about replacing my 550s for the hell of it cuz that was the last thing i put in

Remember a misfire messes with the wideband readings, sending a false lean signal.
Durring a misfire there is a rush of oxygen (picked up by the wideband as lean) and raw fuel that the wideband does not notice at all.

I noticed you all were on the right track, and starting to look for misfires. Just thought id clarify, that the issue may not be a lean issue.

I have this same Problem ! Only when the cars is cold tho after it warms up all this goes away... But im not on 550's or an ems.. I still have stock 370's and ecu.. I remember reading somewhere that this problem is DEF. a coolant temp sensor for the ecu that is bad... So i purchased a coolant temp sensor but havent gotten around to installing it yet...Ill let you guys know when i do

Ive tried the other fixes but this one.. New o2 sensor, re-did all ecu caps, coil packs are ok last time i checked (Aout a month ago when i did my plugs).. so i just have to rule this out now..

I thought i posted my problem, guess i didn't..
Turns out the fuel line coming off the fuel pump going to the filter was crimped, causing the fuel to be cut off therefore causing my problem. Hopes this helps your guys out.
