I can help you out with shipping that once you get the weight figured. I work for a large logistics company and I do a lot of single pallet moves around the country on a daily basis. Give my office a call and I will put together a shipping quote for you (the quotes free). My direct office number is 303.367.7161. Make sure to mention to me that you're on SupraMania and I will hook you up with cheap pricing. Thanks, Brandon.

dont they have a scale at the places you ship it at... it is a freight station after all ;p mine was 688lbs roughly iirc 1jz e/ an auto tranny missing a few things but usually the copanies round up w/ the charge and charge a fee w/ over 50 lbs declared or something to that extent right?

tlo, he's probably trying to know how much it weighs so he can give someone a shipping quote without having to take his motor somewhere and have it weighed. It's not like you can just throw it in the back of your truck and haul it all over.........:biglaugh:

Thanks Jay, you are correct. The guy wants to know the weight, but if it's going to be to much trouble for me to ship, he will come pick it up. He took two days off to come from, Virgina. So I am not to worried, and some quotes are high for this, but when i said motor weight, I didn't mean Motor + Transmission.

I know for a fact it was not 700 pounds.

Also I weighed a 7m block, which is also iron and it weighed with no crank or anything in it, 154 pounds bare. So did some calculations and weighed everything in. It should way around 480-530 pounds.

Good luck.

Even better.

Jay I think ia m about to start looking for another Supra.

I just traded my Integra straight up for a a4 awd 5-speed 2.8, I need a nice winter car, and the Gsr was just horrible! I hope I can lay my hands on a '89-92

I am hoping for a '91 Right now though.

Good luck with that. I can't see parting out a 92 though and then buying another one. Hopefully you'll find one at a reasonable price though.
