1jz coils on a 7m, here's the wiring diagram

Is it possible to run other coils instead of 1JZ coils with this setup and OEM ECU? What about coils with 3 or 4 pin connection? Does it work? And how?
Is it possible to combinate that with the eMange ultimate? When using the two signals to take as input in the EMU?
Here's a question -- what are the main differences between running this setup and Tookwik's 2j coil setup? Mainly, what are the cost differences? Is there any advantage to running one instead of the other? Performance differences?
