1JZ CODE 78 need some help

I just did a 1JZ GTE soarer into my 1988 supra turbo got a harness from tweaked. I hooked it all up the cranked very well but it didn't turn the fuel pump on. then I wired in a fuel pump relay kit with a switch so the pump turns on when I flip a switch but now I noticed that im getting a code 78(which is also what I had when the harness was controlling the fuel) which from what I know is a fuel pump code. will this cause the motor to crank catch for a couple seconds then die even when I have the switch on?

If its getting fuel, it should just be a warning code, not stop the car from running. Have you asked what Dr. Tweak what he says and why one of his harnesses throws a code and didnt run the pump? Are you sure your pump is good? May be time for a jza80 upgrade anyway.

sorry for the miss information there, it did run the pump. and the fuel pump is good it is brand new put it in the car before installed the 1J.
