1jz auto on a 7m

hey will a 1jz auto fit onto a 7m anything special i need?
and is it any better then the 7m auto?

You will need a 7m bell housing. Might as well build it if your going for any kind of power.

the plan is to stick it in my current car that has no reverse and rebuild the current one i have my supra is my DD

The 1j transmissions that I have in my garage does not have the spedometer out put on the output housing because it used and electronic sensor.

You need to count the splines on the input shafts and use the correct converter for the trans as well.

Only reason I can see to do this is if the Jz trans is known to be in good condition.
