1jz alternator removal

I know its generally simple to remove an alternator but im having trouble removing it off my 1jz. i removed the top bolt and the bottom bolt. also the cable that goes to the battery and the alternator plug and its still on super tight? is there any other bolts i may have not seen?

The belt still on?

JUst remove the bolts and plugs and pry on it a little bit. There on there pretty tight sometimes.

Make sure your battery is disconnected while you're at it, nobody likes getting shocked when they're pulling the wires off the alt and connect a wrench to ground. ;)

There's a wiring harness that's clipped to the back of the alternator too, but if the alternator feels like it's stuck on there rock solid then it's probably just corrosion between the alternator and the bottom stud that it slides onto. Tap the stud with a hammer and use some WD40 and it should come off.

Heard that before haha... and sheared enough bolt heads clean off that I don't trust you here. :p
