Ok so ive been pullin my hair out for some time now so im getting humbled and coming to you wiring experts begging for some help.. Help!!
So this is whats going on I swapped a stock 1jz minus a y-pipe and stinger into my 1990 turbo supra. It will fire up and run and at idle you cant really tell the miss until when you drive it it breaks up and pops and not much power..
Whats happening for the miss is the #6 coil is not getting the signal voltage of when to fire. The #6 coil pack power wire has power and all the other coils are getting a signal and have 12 volts at the power wire when running. It has just got swapped in so it has never run on all six and then one day just stoped or something..
Here is what i have already checked. I have checked and swapped the coil packs themselves and they are all good. I have ohmed all the signal wires from the coils to the igniter and they have good continuity. I have ohmed all the wires from the igniter to the ecu and they have good continuity. I checked the ground wire and the power wire to the igniter and they are both good. I checked that the igniter itself has a good ground. I checked the brown wire grounds on the intake manifold and they are good. I even checked the wire going from the igniter to the diagnostic port and it ohmed out with good continuity.
I figure i got to think out of the box on this one since it not somethin real obvious and could use all the help i can get!
PLEASE HELP ME GET MY SUPRA RUNNING ON ALL 6

Check the ohms on the actual igniter, my 1j did the same thing but it was #1 cyl coil on mine that wasn't getting the signal.
Swapped out the igniter and it's good again.

Did that here is what i got..
Pin 1&6= 2137
Pin 2&5= 2146
Pin 3&4= 2098
Pin 7&12= 2150
Pin 8&11= 2098
Pin 9&10= 2145

Seems like its alright.. Also i pluged it into my friends 1j and it ran on all six so its not the ignitor..
Im thinking its some thing out of the box of normal stuff to cause it..
Is there anything in the 1j swap wiring besides the ignitor related wiring that could cause the miss..
Also it getting worse.. 1 and 6 are both now not firing and 2 is firing unconsistently..
Any ideas?

Right...

Is the stinger compatible with the stock ignitor?

Sure is.. compatible with the ignitor and map sensor even tho it has a built in map sensor.. But yeah its not like the aem ems system where you have to buy the gm map sensor and a resistor..
