woah, that 7m is no joke!

..well no, it was a joke. and built by the jokester.

next time give the poor guy some insight as to NOT race his car or even drive it for that matter.

7m is a great powerplant. Only reason 1j guys hate 7ms is for this exact reason. they blow it up from inexperience, then do the swap and start learning from it, and then have a healthy motor and think its far more superior.

To me there all great motors and I just looks at them as gte motors from the same family.So stop hating cause there all kick ass motors.7M's just need to be baby sited more and they need to be treated with tlc.But that dosent mean they can't take a beating.

ok just say you guys already named the reason he got rodknock, and it wasn't because of the 7m. It was poor maintenence with a poor build, a t66 with no fuel upgrades or ic leads too detonation and engine failure.

What was the saying? The biggest problem with the mk3 is 9 out of 10 times, the owner.

But back on topic that 1j was a pretty sweet ride for basically stock. Really makes me think of getting a 1j as a dd and having my 7m for a weekend warrior

hahah no im not suggesting everyone with a tough 7m throw down a challenge but someone who has a 7m with similar mods to the 1jz that at least looks after it and has it tuned.Then of course do it in a controlled environment, and it would make for a great comparisson.
