1991 Toyota Truck 7MGTE

Hey just saw this forum the other day. Have 7mgte swapped 91 Toyota Truck. Bone stock engine running 7psi with a hotpipe. 2.5 straight pipe exhaust.
Really fun. Quirky daily driver. I drive it pretty fast but dont race so much, use it for work I can tow a trailer with it I like it.
Goals is daily driver thats fast but looks like shit so I can park it in the ghetto and get no attention, I think ive suceeded. I would like to install a intercooler and other BPUS and leave it alone. Ive been a car nut forever, but this is my first toyota project, so far its very fun. Gas mileage same as 22r but three times horsepower is fun.

Very cool project. I've got a 91 Toyota Pickup as well. Is yours a 2WD? Extended cab? Mine's a v6 4wd and holy crap does that engine blow balls. My truck is significantly slower than anything else I've ever driven.

yeah ive had 22r and v6 trucks 2wd and 4wd. love the reliability and cheap maintenance, but the juice just aint there.
2wd single cab. 7mgte swap can be done 4wd and its fresh. supratrucks.com i think is where i saw it. I wanted it to be as simple as it could be with mostly factory parts, the 4wd conversion takes a bunch of interchange im not into, rwd swap minimal fuckery to mount and fairly simple wiring.
Space is minimal in the front and im gonna have to do a bunch of cutting and welding to fit any kind of FMIC in the front. Probably the hardest part for me I hate making cuts im sloppy at it, but i would like to see 300hp! ill have some photos up soon.

only photo i have so far camera took a shit on me and my phone sucks. got a lot of stuff to do i do drive it daily with dr.jekyl and mr.hyde habits. Everything works need to swap in sr5 dash currently no tach.70k jdm stock engine great compression new headbolts new headgasket timing belt water pump and spark plugs. no boost guage. no radio.no intercooler. no problem. stock boost hits hard all wheelspin 1-3 gear full throttle 4.4 rear gears. no room for fan on engine side. swapped in q45 14" electric fan activated by factory coolant sensor. 3" straight pipe exhaust.
projects:mkiv smic or other ic mounted in fender, theres no room for a decent fmic without major cutting .intake
slightly bigger turbo (we never replace a turbo with the same one!)
tach, boost guage.
lsd
replace all hoses and clamps-used 100%old ass factory hoses and clamps.
had ittuned at my friends shop and verified that engine can run w/o intercooler at stock boost safely.
dialing it in to be a daily driven 300hp work truck.
My first 7mgte experience,Im not new to turbos or driving fast though

How about mating an R150f to the 7m?
