Just wondering if anyone is running 19s on their mk3 with h&r lowering springs. I was going to buy a set of 19s fairly cheap but now that I put the new suspension on I cant see them fitting without issues.

depends on what tire size you're gonna run. if your car makes good power i wouldn't recommend putting on low profile tires on the rears 275/30/19's wont stick u need a least a little bit of sidewall 275/40or45/19. but all that's if u actually drive the car like i drive mines spirited. H&R's lower the car significatly and that can hurt what tire size u can run.

235/35 front, 255/35 rear. Im assuming the fronts will rub on turns and limit my turning radius as well and maybe the rears will rub on hard launches.

i'm gonna be running eibachs or tanabe springs, if i don't get tein coilovers. all depends on how my money is. but i would recommend eibachs as i had them on my 87t and they rode great with a nice drop, where u can still run 18's or 19's with no problems.

Easy. it will work. rub in front.. probably not. maybe in the rear if the tire is to fat. But overall you should be good. BTW I am 18x8.5 an 9.5 +35 all around.. so i have that 1/4" more sticking out then you.

itll work. pull your fender liners up front, tuck in the washer bottle motor wire harness, roll the fender lips all the way around and youll be ok... asuming you dont have fucked up offsets.

i fit 19x10s and 19x11's on my old 89. the fronts cleared just fine. the rears would rub the fender so it would need pulled a little, especially since it was a 305/25 in the rear. the front was 265/30 and didnt rub, even turning the wheels lock to lock. btw, this car was lowered on BG sport springs and KYB struts.

H&R's are known it be too low...

Meh, thats just your opinion. I have H&R's that are quite old and have therefore sagged quite a bit. If you pay attention when driving you will have no problems. I think they ride really well when paired with an acceptable damper. Plus, you can't beat the stance.:)

H&R's and Intrax can be really low. if you leave them on a stock/soft damper, you WILL bottom your suspension out. my DSM did it on intrax springs, this guys 88 mk3 did it on Intrax and stock struts. and so did this other guys 90 mk3 on H&R's and stock struts... thats what happens when you drop your car more than a full inch.
