I've done some searching and have seen differing answers. Does anyone know of a minimum offset required for a 17x10 rear to fit on a lowered suspension? I bought a set of race wheels in 17x8.5 & 9 but have found they're also offered in 9.5 & 10 so I plan to sell the 8.5 and use a 17x10 rear if possible. They are offered in +38, anyone have a similar setup and has rubbing occured? These will be used w/ soft rubber so I can't risk them hitting (would rather not purchase and test fit like I've done w/ other stuff)

Thanks for any help,
Brian

what kind of rims are you running?
What kind of suspension?
I run a 17x10 with a 35mm offset.
It looks like it will rub imo, but hams on supraforums runs the same setup with a lowered car, and he does not rub.
My rims is flush with my fender.
I would get a +38 if you can

The one's I'm referring to are the Rpf1 (enkei) http://www.enkei.com/RacingSeriesSpecs/RPF1.html
Suspension has Eibach springs w/ tokicos but that will be replaced before long in favor of something better suited for competition (auto-x/track car)

They don't offer a +35, only 38 or 22 (and I'm sure the +22 would rub) A couple of the sizes aren't listed.

I would like something that has a wider track than my current 17x8 +38/17x9 +44 setup. These will be for race use and I'm planning for 17x9+35 and 17x10 +38 if the 17x10 will fit.

Yea + 22 is to deep

keep it 35-40 40 is about factory and kinda inside your wheel well +35 is perfect! & flush so if you have a stiff after market coil over like tien RA or hypermax then they wheel wont move a whole lot and rub depending on how low you adjust it

here is my supra +38 i think and its not lowered max but about perfect for daily driving and camber. Using Tien RA spec coilover and wedsport CP0035s `15lb rims

Aaron, how much lower than stock is your car? I'm planning for 275's and trying to measure to be sure they won't rub.

How about fronts, I'm hoping to be able to run a 255/40 with the 17x9 +35 in front.

I'm thinking the rear 17x10 +38 w/ 275/40 will fit (based on others fitment success)
The front 17x9 +35 w/ 255/40 however, I'm not sure will fit. It's a lower profile than say a 245/40 but not by much.
