15 psi wastegate spring, but i boosted to 22psi

okay, here is a picture of the actuator arm from underneath. Note that the actuator mounts to the backside of the compressor.

I legnthened the actuator arm and it opens at slightly lower boost, but its still in the 30-35psi range when its completely open.
I called SP, the guy I need to talk to isnt in for another hour, before then i have to go to work. Looks like this issues going to take awhile to resolve.

His is the first I've heard of with this type of wastegate problem and there are plenty of people running the SP. Those guys are also great with service so I wouldn't let this incident sway you from a very good product. It's always nice to think everything will be 100% defect free but that isn't reality.
bah, i messed with the arm and legnthened it, looks like i need a new actuator because the wastegate door is open.
I am possitive that SP will fix the problem for me, I'm sure this is just a fluke.
I believe the bend in the actuator arm is normal. I didnt mess with it at all, thats exactly how it came to me pre-assembled from SP

No probs just thought I'd ask!
If the rod desn't begin to move until 30 psi with the rod off the pin there is something amiss!
If it's not leaking I suspect it's been labelled wrong (Might be worth holding onto for when you want to make more power as heay actuators are rare
)

ehh its more like the rod barely begins to move (this is while connnected to the pin) at around 20psi, it completely opens at 35psi.
haha, yea.. a little under 20psi, like 18psi in first and second and it would continue to creep above 20psi.
Okay.. update. I got a new wastegate back from SP. Problem has not gone away. Now It seems that instead of my boost creeping, my boost goes straight to 21 PSI and I think its sticking there. I'm kinda scared to see. Did i install the new WG with too much tension on the actuator arm?
Set it so half the pin is showing in the hole then put the pin in and bolt it down!
If you preload em too much they run out of travel and you can get a huge boost spike

Go buy a packet of 100 then just use a sharp small screwdriver to flick em off and fit a new one each time
