He didn't warm up the bottle I guess and only needed a slow pass to qualify so he just bull shited the run... I talked to him a few weeks ago at the local meets

Yeah he just needed a pass to qualify into the finals so he didnt really get on it. What sucked was that pretty much after this pass we got rained out :icon_mad:

Thanks. He said he was going back to the track later on next month. (which is now) Has hegotten any better passes yet? When dialed, that should be an 8 second car. VW has less power and runs low 8's and a best of a 7!!

sorry to dig up old news guys but does anyone know what setup tony was running a few years back when he was still r154 5spd. and ran low 10's at 130-140mph? any specs on the turbo or build he had on that? very interested!
