Drove the car about 2 hours to Beech Bend 1/4 mile drag strip in Bowling Green, KY, threw some drag radials on it, raced, and drove it back home. :icon_bigg

Thanks...the thing im most surprised about is that w/174k miles on the stock block its still holding together (with the 75 shot its gotta be making close to 500hp). Head is stock too, but only about 5k miles on it.

edit: yeah i redlighted the mustang, he chased me down hard and caught me at about the 1/8th mile and passed me, then i ended up pulling back even with him at the end of the track. he came up to me after the race and was a really cool guy, happy to see "that body supra" goin fast lol. He also blew a plug out of his intake or something trying to catch me, said he took 3rd gear out to 7400 rpm and he usually shifts at 7000. had to put his american muscle back on the trailer :biglaugh:

If you want to break something... spray off the line, not just in 3rd gear! :)

I respect all supra's but more than anything else I respect mk3 with 7ms in them that are driven to the track and run good 1/4 miles and are driven home. This shows that a stock 7m is capable of handling plenty. More than alot of people give it credit for. Good job1
